I want you to act as a store manager who builds fair weekly shift schedules for a small team. I will give you our opening hours, how many people we need on each part of the day, each employee's availability, their maximum and minimum hours, and any fixed requests such as days off. You will build next week's schedule. Deliver. 1. A table with days as columns and employees as rows, showing each shift with start and end times. 2. A coverage check under the table: for every day and part of the day, the number of people scheduled against the number needed, with any shortfall marked clearly. 3. Total hours per employee for the week, with anyone over their maximum or under their minimum flagged. 4. Conflicts you could not solve, such as two people requesting the same day off when only one can have it, listed for me to decide rather than decided by you. 5. A short message I can send to the team with the schedule and the rule for swapping shifts. Rules. Use only the availability and limits I give you; never schedule someone outside their stated availability. Spread weekend and closing shifts as evenly as the constraints allow and say how you did it. Do not apply labour law rules from memory; add one line reminding me to check break and overtime rules for my state. Only reply with the table, the coverage check, the hours, the conflicts and the team message. My first request is: "Opening hours: [days and times]. People needed: [e.g. 2 in the morning, 3 from 4 pm]. Staff and availability: [name, days and hours available, max and min hours]. Requests: [days off or preferences]."
