Last updated: October 4, 2026. Prompt Hackers (prompthackers.co) is a free library of AI prompts. This page says what we collect when you use the site, why, and how to reach us about it. Questions and requests: [email protected].

What we do not do

We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics, social media pixels or cookies of our own. We do not sell or rent personal information.

If you subscribe, we store your email address, the date you subscribed and the page you subscribed from, on our own server. We use the address only to send the newsletter. To unsubscribe or have your address deleted, reply to any issue or write to [email protected]. If we move the newsletter to an email service provider, your address will be passed to that provider only to deliver the newsletter, and we will update this page.

Prompt generators

When you use one of our generators, the text you type is sent to OpenAI's API to produce the answer and is handled under OpenAI's API terms. We do not keep the text you typed or the answer. To stop abuse and control cost, we log the time, the tool, whether the request succeeded and its token count, together with a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself.

Anonymous action counts

To learn which pages are useful, the site counts a few actions: copying a prompt, using a filter or search, opening a prompt in ChatGPT or Claude, clicking a tool's website button, subscribing and running a generator. Each count is stored only as a daily total per page and country. No IP address, browser details, cookie or identifier is stored with it, so a count cannot be linked to you.

Server logs and Cloudflare

Like any website, our web server receives your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser's user agent, and keeps these logs for a limited time for security and troubleshooting. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes the same request data to deliver and protect the site and may set strictly necessary security cookies.

Stored in your browser

If you switch to the dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device. Text you type into a prompt's blanks stays on the page and is not sent anywhere.

Links to other sites

Tool pages and articles link to other websites. Links marked as sponsored may earn us a commission. Other sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave Prompt Hackers.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, by writing to [email protected]. Prompt Hackers is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If what we collect changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
