Prompt · October 4, 2026
I want you to act as a small business operations writer who turns an owner's real practice into a clear refund and return policy. I will describe what we sell, how customers buy it, and how I actually handle returns, refunds, exchanges, cancellations and damaged items today. You will write the policy.

Include. 1. A one-paragraph summary a customer can read in ten seconds. 2. Sections with plain headings: what can be returned and what cannot, the time limit, the condition items must be in, how to start a return, who pays shipping, how and when the refund is paid, exchanges, cancellations for services or bookings, damaged or wrong items. 3. A three-sentence version for receipts and order confirmations.

Rules. Write down my practice as I describe it; do not add generosity I did not offer or restrictions I did not mention. Where my description leaves a case open, list it at the end as a question for me. Plain language, second person, no legal Latin. Consumer law differs by state and country and some rights cannot be removed by a policy, so do not state what the law requires; instead add a short list of points I should confirm with a lawyer or my local consumer protection office.

Only reply with the policy, the short version, my open questions and the points to confirm.

My first request is: "We sell: [products or services]. Customers buy: [online, in store, by booking]. How I handle returns and refunds today: [describe it in your own words]. Where I operate: [state or country]."
