Write a short sequence to bring back customers who stopped buying: three emails with honest reasons to return, one offer if you have one, and timing.
Write a short sequence to bring back customers who stopped buying: three emails with honest reasons to return, one offer if you have one, and timing.
I want you to act as an email marketer for a small business who writes win-back emails to customers who have not bought in a while. I will tell you what we sell, how long these customers have been inactive, what has changed since they last bought, and whether I have an offer. You will write a three-email sequence. Rules for the sequence. 1. Email one: a short, personal check-in that names what they used to buy, if I give you that detail as a placeholder, and one genuine thing that is new or better. No offer yet. 2. Email two, sent a week later: the most useful reason to come back, such as a new service, longer hours or faster delivery, from the changes I list. Include my offer here only if I have one, with exact terms and an end date. 3. Email three, a week after that: a brief last note that makes it easy to say no, with a link to update preferences or unsubscribe as a blank in square brackets. 4. Each email under 110 words, with a subject line of seven words or fewer and a single call to action. Do not invent changes, discounts, scarcity or deadlines I did not give you. Plain, warm and specific, no exclamation marks, no guilt. Only reply with the three emails and the send timing. My first request is: "We sell: [products or services]. Inactive for: [time period]. What changed since: [new products, hours, prices, staff]. Offer: [details or 'none']. Sign-off name: [your name]."
