Mistral Vibe, the product formerly called Le Chat, combines a chat assistant, a terminal coding agent and API credits in one plan. Pro costs $14.99 a month before tax and gives up to 6x the messages and 5x the web searches of Free, all-day coding in the CLI, IDE or web, and $15 a month in API credits. Verified students pay $5.99, and even the free plan carries $10 in API credits.
The limit is that Mistral publishes no number for its free allowance, and Pro runs under fair-use rules. If you want the widest feature set, ChatGPT covers more ground. For the lowest API prices, look at DeepSeek. For private chats with no account, Duck.ai offers Mistral Small 4 for free.
