Duck.ai review: our take
Duck.ai is the private way to use well-known chat models. DuckDuckGo removes your IP address before a prompt reaches the provider, does not store chats by default, and has agreements that providers delete prompts after replying and never train on them. The free tier needs no account and includes Claude 4.5 Haiku, GPT-5.4 mini and Mistral Small 4. Plus at $9.99 a month adds Claude Sonnet 4.6 and GPT-5.6 Terra, and Pro at $19.99 adds Claude Opus 4.8 and GPT-5.6 Sol.
There are documented exceptions: OpenAI and Anthropic may hold chats in short-term memory for up to an hour for caching. Free limits are not published. If you want projects, connectors and a coding agent in one app, look at ChatGPT or Claude. For cited web answers, try Perplexity.
