HeyGen is for videos where a person talks to the camera, without filming anyone. You type a script and an avatar presents it, and the same video can be translated and dubbed into more than 175 languages and dialects. Avatar V builds a likeness of you from a short recording, with clips of up to 3 minutes per generation.
The free plan is a real trial: 3 videos a month, a minute each, with a watermark. Creator, at $29 a month or $24 billed yearly, removes the watermark and allows 30-minute videos at 1080p; 4K starts at Pro, $49. HeyGen does not generate cinematic scenes, so for footage of places and action look at Runway or Kling.
