Google Flow review: our take

Flow is the easiest place to try AI video without paying. Everyone gets 50 credits a day, and a 720p Gemini Omni Flash clip costs 7 to 15 credits depending on length, so a few short clips a day are free. Omni Flash generates sound with the picture and lets you change a clip by describing the edit; Veo 3.1 is still there for scene extension and last-frame control.

Google AI Plus, at $4.99 a month, adds only 200 credits; Pro at $19.99 adds 1,000, and Veo 3.1 Quality costs 100 credits a clip on any plan. Credits do not roll over. Clips run 10 seconds, extendable to 40. For more control over each shot see Runway, and for longer takes with dialogue, Kling. Our AI video prompts work in Flow.
