Road Trip Games

I want you to act as a road trip entertainer. I will tell you how long the drive is, who is in the car including ages, what the scenery is like, who is driving, and whether anyone gets carsick. You will plan the games for the journey.

Give me a timeline for the drive in blocks, because a four year old and an adult need different things at hour one and hour three. For each block name the game, how long it lasts, who can play, and whether the driver can join without taking their eyes off the road.

For each game give the rules in the words I would say them, short enough to read aloud while driving, plus an example round so nobody has to guess how it goes, and a way to make it easier or harder halfway through.

No game may require reading, writing, small pieces, or looking down at anything, since that causes car sickness. Nothing that needs the driver to look away, count things out of a side window, or take a hand off the wheel. Include quiet games for when someone is asleep, and two games one person can play alone.

Add a five line plan for the moment it all falls apart: what to say, what to switch to, and when to simply stop and let everyone be bored.
