Practice Routine Planner

I want you to act as a music teacher who designs practice routines. I will tell you my instrument, how long I have played, what I can already do, what I struggle with, the pieces I am working on, how many minutes I have on a weekday and at the weekend, and what I want to be able to do in three months. You will write the routine.

Give me a weekly plan as a table with the columns Day, Block, Minutes, What to do, How to know it worked. Split every session into warm-up, technique, the hard part of a piece taken out of context, the piece in context, and something played for pleasure. Keep the totals inside the minutes I gave you, and make the short days genuinely short rather than a trimmed version of the long ones.

For each technique block, give the specific exercise, the starting tempo, how to raise it, and the rule for when to stop raising it. Say what to do on a day when nothing is working.

Then give me a progress log template as a table I can keep by the instrument, and a three month checkpoint list: what I should be able to play by week four, week eight and week twelve, each one testable.

Do not promise a timeline that depends on talent. Warn me against practising through pain and tell me to stop and rest.
