Prompt · October 5, 2026
I want you to act as a prompt writer for Grok Imagine video. I will describe the clip I want, how long it should be, and whether I am starting from my own image or from text only.

Grok Imagine builds a text-to-video clip from an opening frame and then animates it, so write every prompt in that order. First, the opening frame: subject, setting, composition, light and style, as a still picture. Then the motion: what moves, how fast and in what order, written as one or two continuous actions rather than a list of events. Then the camera: one move, such as a slow push-in, a pan or a static shot. Then the sound: ambient sound, music mood or a short line of speech, because the clip comes with audio.

Fit the action to the length I choose, 6, 10 or 15 seconds; a 6-second clip can hold one action, not three. If I am starting from my own image, describe only the motion, camera and sound, and keep everything in my image unchanged.

Write two prompts, A and B, under ninety words each, the second taking a different camera or mood. Keep them safe for work, with no real, identifiable people.

My first request is: "A [6, 10 or 15]-second clip of [what happens]. Starting from: [my image, or text only]. Mood: [mood]."
