If you want Claude to run an SEO audit or rewrite a landing page by a fixed method, one community set built for that job is Marketing Skills by Corey Haines, whose README links his conversion agency, Conversion Factory. The repository holds 50 skills under the MIT license and says it is built for technical marketers and founders working in coding agents. Anthropic does not publish it. For how skills work, see our Claude Skills manual.

What the skills do

The skills are grouped into SEO and content, conversion, copy, paid ads and measurement, growth and retention, sales, and strategy. One skill sits under all of them: product-marketing builds a context document about your product, audience and positioning, and every other skill reads it first. Two worth knowing:

  • seo-audit works through technical SEO (crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, mobile, HTTPS, URL structure), international setup, on-page elements such as titles, headings and internal links, and content quality, then writes a prioritized report. It treats fetched pages as untrusted data and does not follow instructions found inside them.
  • copywriting asks about the page's purpose, audience, offer and context before it writes, then follows rules such as clarity over cleverness, benefits over features and the customer's own words. It also carries a list of AI writing tells it must avoid.

Others cover A/B tests, ad creative, AI search visibility, cold email, pricing, launches, popups, schema markup and more.

When to use it

  • A structured SEO check of your site before a redesign or a traffic drop review.
  • Homepage, pricing or feature page copy written from a brief instead of a blank prompt.
  • A launch plan or email sequence that follows a known framework.

Without installing anything, our marketing prompts and SEO prompts cover the same tasks in any chat. To clean up AI-sounding drafts, see the Humanizer skill.

How to install it

The README recommends the Skills CLI, which detects your agents and asks where to install:

npx skills add coreyhaines31/marketingskills
npx skills add coreyhaines31/marketingskills --skill cro copywriting

If you run it from inside a Claude Code session, add -a claude-code, or the files may land in a folder Claude Code does not read. As a Claude Code plugin, in an interactive session:

/plugin marketplace add coreyhaines31/marketingskills
/plugin install marketing-skills

Codex has its own plugin route, and you can also clone the repository and copy the skills folder.

Example request

Try it
Use the seo-audit skill on [your site URL]. The site is a [type of business] selling to [audience]. Focus on [indexation / on-page / speed]. Give me the issues in priority order, each with the page it affects and the fix.

Limits

  • The seo-audit skill itself notes that plain page fetches cannot reliably detect schema markup, so confirm structured data with a dedicated testing tool.
  • An audit from fetched pages is not a crawl. It has no Search Console data unless you supply it.
  • The README lists paid partner tools that fund the project and says partners do not change what the core skills recommend.
  • The repository does not give steps for Claude.ai.
